"On Fridays around these parts we have a little tradition. We throw caution (editing, revising, and worrying) to the winds and just write. Without wondering if it’s just right or not."
If I knew I could, I would change the world.
Right all wrongs.
Find a cure for all diseases.
No one would be poor.
Comfort all the broken people.
If I knew I could, I would be brave.
Climb Pike's Peak, Table Mountain, and maybe even Everest.
Stand before kings & queens and share the love that I know changes all loves.
Write a book that would change people, touch their hearts, challenge their mindsets.
Study all the time because I just love learning in a classroom.
If I knew I could, I would....
Worry less.
Love more.
Be more impulsive.
Embrace the challenges of life.
See through hurts to the other side.
Daydream a lot.
Give my heart completely.
If I knew I could, I would. I just would. With no reservations or analysis.
I would just BE fully, completely, wholly.
STOP.

That was a great post and you have much higher aspirations than I did when I wrote mine! I just wanted everyone to stay in bed and go to sleep!
Beautiful post. Sounds like the dreaming sessions I did last year, putting everything aside, what would I do? Love what you would do!
You would be a very busy bee for sure! I love your confidence and courage for those life changing dreams. You are so right I think God gives birth to our passions for higher reasons than we know. To answer your question...it was photography and photo editing. It will happen one day. Just not in my timing but His. Thank you so much for stopping by today and leaving a comment! Come back anytime :)

love it and love the end. that's really the best part at the end of the day when you just want to be fully what you were created to be!
Totally love this. Especially the ending.
Oh, me too. Why is it so hard to live freely when we know we are free? Enjoyed your post. :)
I share many of your dreams, Lindsey - especially the learning one. If I could, I would be in school forever. I'd get a hundred different degrees - business, art, literature, psychology, religion, communication, journalism, etc. Except Math. I think I'd skip a degree in math. ;)

@Mama Bear LOL! Well, sometimes as a full time mama, THAT is a high aspiration....getting your family through the day! You are shaping the next generation!
@Jen
Thanks, Jen! I really like the idea of your dreaming season, and I have wanted to ask you more about it, but I don't know if that goes against the whole idea of the "dreaming sessions" by asking for HOW you dream...LOL! Does that make sense??
@Undeserving Grace Thanks, Tara, for stopping by and for your encouragement! I WOULD be busy indeed...so true! And since I am in a sabbatical season right now to rest and recuperate from years of full time ministry, I am aware that my "would if I could" will take MORE of HIM, and MUCH LESS OF ME...
I love the idea of you doing photography & photo editing....that is kind of a desire of mine too!
@bahava
Yes...with abandon....sigh! That is what I long for the most!
@Patty Ann Thank you, Patty! Appreciate you stopping by!
@amanda
Wow! Great question, Amanda! Why, indeed??
@Stephanie
Oh yes! DEFINITELY skip math...someone else can do that one! Hahahaha! But I love all your other choices!
