I saw this idea on my friend Anna's page a few months ago, but never got around to doing it and then I forgot, but then this week, I saw it on my blogger pal, Stephanie's site, and I decided that I wanted to join in too!! If you would like to do your own {and I hope that you do and let ME know if you do}, check out the Where I'm From template.

This is a really cute poem. I'll try to do one too. It does seem a little challenging though.
We will never forget that Christmas or who's balls weren't on the tree that year.
Ooh I love this! I had a friend do it for her blog too…thanks for including the link to the template.
I'm SO glad you decided to do this writing exercise. Wasn't it FUN?
Also - You are remarkable. I just want you to know that.
P.S. "Logical Adventurer." I like that. In fact, it may end up in my vocabulary.
Am just reading this now...you told me you were working on that one when we talked by phone. I love it because I can just picture it all. Very nice !!

I love your piece! It's wonderful, and it's so very descriptive. I laughed out loud at the Praise Him when the generators broken and at Aunt Bonnie's missing Christmas balls. :)
It all sounds lovely--your home, your family, your descriptions of them all. It sounds as though you are from a beautiful place. :)

I love this. Very different in some ways from where I am from. But you certainly perked my ears up at crab picking and Rainbow Brite. Well written.
